Aphrodite (Greek: Ἀφροδίτη; Latin: Venus) is the Greek goddess of love and beauty.

Aphrodite was associated with Golden Apple of Discord by Eris and with magic girdle. The word ΚΑΛΛΊΣΤῌ (Ancient Greek: kallistē, Modern Greek: kallisti; "for/to the most beautiful") was inscribed on the Golden Apple of Discord by Eris. Καλλίστῃ is the dative singular of the feminine superlative of καλλός, beautiful.

i have just done a fan art copy of this because i think it's amazing

however i didnt have enough time to do this as thoroughly as i would have liked and the picture i copied it off cut off the top and bottom, making it a landscape instead of portrait piece :S i love your original though

The coloring is abosolutley beautiful. The pictures that are drawn of Athena don't really look like her, but this does because of the elegant colors and look to everything.
